What might Francis say to us today?
Each year, the Pilgrims of Saint Francis reflect on a theme during their events through the year. This year the theme is ‘What would Francis say today’ . A theme which originated when the question was asked ‘Is Francis relevant in today’s world?”
From this first question the larger theme has emerged – looking at the context in which Francis worked and asking do we have those same issues – values in society; conflicts, environmental issues, reshaping our ideas about community and church.
